North Texas Youth Ministries presents, North Texas Youth Choir - NTY MAGNIFY.  NTY MAGNIFY is a ministry geared towards 14 - 25 year olds who are willing to use their gifts and talents to magnify the name of Jesus. They have been involved in multiple events from Praise on the Mountain; Six Flags over Texas, North Texas Youth Convention, North Texas Youth Camp, SFC Rally, Manumission, Unleashed, North Texas District Summit, and have recorded an album.


North Texas Youth Ministries mission is to partner with the local churches of the North Texas District in the process of equipping and empowering young people to fully devote their lives to Jesus Christ.

  • Providing opportunities to be equipped through ministries and events geared toward students.
  • Providing opportunities to be empowered through evangelism and Sheaves for Christ.
  • Providing a Youth Choir that is student lead and student driven.
  • Creating a program that students strive to be part of something bigger than themselves.

    Ben Patten is the Music Director at Way of Life Church in Hurst, TX under the leadership of Rev. Kevin Shindoll. He attended Indiana Bible College where he receive a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Masters of Worship Studies at West Coast Bible College and Seminary. He will start a Doctor of Worship Studies program at the end of 2019. He also serves on the North Texas Youth Committee as NTY Music / AVL Liaison.

    Ashley Patten is a graduate of Indiana Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She recently finished her B.S. Accounting Degree. She assists her husband, as Music Director, at Way of Life Church in Hurst, TX.



    Derek currently serves at Northgate Pentecostals in North Richland Hills, Texas, as the Music Pastor. He attended Southeastern Louisiana University where he majored in music. Derek is married to the love of his life Le’Anna, and they have one cat named Issac.
